Becoming a wife...

We're going to a friend's place for dinner on Friday night and I am TOTALLY making this! What is it?? A cake in a jar!! Yep, it looks amazing! And I'm pretty excited about it! Great for gifts.

No more excuses!

I'm not the most disciplined of people. Especially when it comes to eating healthy and exercising. My emotions win over logic. But what can I say, I'm female!!

And yes, I would have thought that being engaged would be the most motivating thing to get me in shape. But no... I even signed up to the City2Surf and Blackmores Half Marathon (yep that's 21.1km!!) as more motivation. But no... Don't get me wrong, I have been doing Booty Camp and running, but not as much as I should. I don't want to be super skinny on my big day, but I do want to look my best and not regret anything. So, from now, there are no excuses! 20 weeks to go! Eek!

Please girls, make sure your man looks sharp! Again, there are no rules! They don't have to be the same or wear a hired ensemble. Anything goes! The more it reflects you and your man, the better.

Hey, nice nails!

I've been paying much more attention to the state of my nails now that I have something sparkly on my finger. And I've become much more adventurous with the colours I'm wearing. I'm a neutral girl, so this is big for me! Sportsgirl are great for trend colours, although you can't beat OPI for long lasting colour.

One of my all time favourite weddings (that I've seen online) is Max Wagner (amazing photographer!) and his gal Margeaux. Just their names are enough to do it for me! I love their bright colour scheme, relaxed vibe, cute details. So good!

Amazingly, all this rain hasn't made me gloomy and depressed. I've really enjoyed being inside with time to cook, bake, get things organised and more importantly, wear my gumboots and splash in puddles!
